Mental Health Control

Life is always the happenings of unexpected ones, as to how we are pushed into this situation. A pandemic situation due to the rise of the corona, a deadly disease. Our environment has changed, The mode of communications has changed, the method of attending classes have changed, our outlook of visiting places has changed, and hence our mindset has also changed.



Since March 2020, we are pushed into a different living atmosphere. Differences in everything around. Mask and Sanitizers play a major role than how mobile phones played a vital role in our early life. For almost six months, we wish to have our friends, relatives, neighbours to visit our home. But now, scared if someone visits home. Does this mean we are scared of people? Do we require life without peoples around? A lonely life?

A compulsory task which has been followed right from march to August is maintaining social isolation, followed with the slogan "Stay home, stay safe". No people bounded by. Always at home, watching television, playing games, eating good food, and having a nap continuously for half a day. This had been really the routine of many teenagers. That could make an impact on some people very early, and on some too late. They come to realize how bad their life is going on. Nothing useful. This absolutely leads to stress.



Not only students, everyone underwent stress during this pandemic. Many people started losing their identity. Stress, anxiety, threats, borings, depression, mood swings and so many occurred. We overcame so many difficulties in this year.  Though there are so many relaxations in our lockdown system, still we are not changed back to our normal life. This also results in stress.

So managing our mental health is necessary. Bad physical conditions also result in mental issues. And thereby, we ought to make our physical and mental state a balanced one. Meditation could help us relieve a little. Learning new things around gives an interest in many fields. During this crisis, its best for our mind if we have an internal locus of control. Listening to music could relax. Always listening to news channels could also make you feel stress. Because every minute we watch the news, our brain is sensing a threat. Nothing is to be done for a prolonged period of time. 

The best way to shut down the anxiety response is to learn how to relax your body and mind. Communications of face-face interactions have been limited, but bonding and care with the person never end. The real communication is always there with people through social networks. Connecting deeply with our real social networks insulates us from stress. At this time the optimal thing to do is "maximize physical distance but strengthen social connectivity".


Prolonged social isolation often leads to social anxiety, depression, and other varieties of mental unwellness. So it is very much essential to control our mental health. And yes, make our life changed temporarily which could suit our situation. Maintain a daily work schedule.  Whatever be the things to do, but to be accomplished based on that schedule. Make your mind engaged in activities, in your field of interest.  Any activity it could be but to be engaged that fills your mind and crowds out anxious thoughts. Have regular exercise. Make your body fit. Exercising is to balance the ratio of the food you intake and the weight that increases. Take every chance for your unknown talents like singing,  drawing, crafting, and so on. And must eat as nutritious foods as you can. Thus, consider this as an opportunity for quality time for a  peaceful life relieving from stress.

Make your life as enthusiastic as you can. Start accepting reality with wholeheartedness. There comes your happiness, breaking through the stress. So stay safe and stay happy guys!
